Gdansk is the city which:

  • is more than one thousand years old,

  • in 1650 already had 70 thousands inhabitants,

  • has the biggest church made of brick in the world,

  • is known as “the world’s capital of amber”,

  • has many famous citizens like: Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit – a physicist , Johannes Hevelius – an astronomer and a brewer, Arthur Schopenhauer – a philosopher, Guenter Grass – a Nobel Prize winner in Literature and finally Lech Walesa – a former Polish President,a Solidarity leader and a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Sopot is the city which:

  • has the longest wooden pier in Europe (511,5 meters),

  • is mostly covered by forest,

  • has famous Forest Opera, which was opened more than 100 years ago,

  • is known as Polish Monte Carlo. It is because of many hotels, clubs and a casino.

Gdynia is the city which:

  • is one of the youngest and fastest developing Polish city,

  • one hundred years ago had only one thousand inhabitants,

  • became the biggest port on the Baltic Sea just 13 years after building,

  • has on its official website information that “the best thing is to be a Gdynia resident, but this is the privilege enjoyed by few (ca. 250 thousand inhabitants). What we suggest to the remaining 6 billion inhabitants of the globe is that they at least visit our city - it is beautiful, comfortable and, according to scientists, the sunniest Polish city (1,671 hours of sunshine annually)”.
